Cascade Community Youth Theatre is committed to giving young people in grades 3-8 the opportunity to learn and express themselves through the dramatic arts. We provide theatre experiences with plays, musical productions, and training classes in acting and technical production skills. Youth theatre students are also able to participate as cast and crew in community productions.

Youth Program Details

For the 2008-2009 season CCT youth theatre programs will be headed by the following directors:

Elementary

Wendy Habek

Suzan Greenfield

Middle School

Chuck Young

Youth programs will begin in October with parent orientation and training nights. Student workshops and rehearsals begin in November. Productions will be staged in the spring of 2009 as the culmination of the student experience. Cascade Community Theatre is excited to begin another season of youth programs and productions. We look forward to meeting our new students and parents.

In addition to our standard programs, this season will include one special workshop for each age group as well as a family membership in Cascade Community theatre at no additional cost.

Since we are a fully volunteer organization we depend on a strong commitment from our students and dedicated parent participation.

This season we will require students to audition for roles in the productions. Our goal is to ensure a high level of interest and provide a compelling environment for every student.
